Next FRICO will take place at RWTH Aachen.
FRICO 2012 will take place August 15-18, 2012 at the Zuse Institute Berlin, Germany.
Note that ISMP 2012 follows directly after.
The aim of this workshop is mainly to bring together young researchers and to encourage the exchange of new ideas. The focus of the workshop are new and newest results from various areas of combinatorial optimization. Application areas include, but are not limited to:
To enable students and young researchers without major financial backing the participiation at FRICO, participation is free of charge. Participants will only have to cover their travel and accomodation expenses.
FRICO is intended to be a workshop in the original meaning of the word. In particular we encourage the submission and presentation of on-going and future research (even work in progress containing gaps and unsolved problems). There will be room in the program to allow for exciting and fruitful discussions after each talk.
As mentioned above FRICO aims mostly at young researchers (students, PhD students and postdocs).
